Tragic reports have confirmed the horrifying moment a passenger plane carrying 72 passengers on board hit the ground in a fireball on Christmas day.
The tragic crash landing was captured by witnesses who shared the horror footage online, showing the doomed plane’s final moments.

A total of 67 passengers and five crew members were on board the Azerbaijan Airlines flight that was traveling from the capital city of Baku to the Russian city of Grozny.
Footage shared of the crash shows the plane bursting into flames while striking the ground. Soon after that, thick black smoke rose. Both bruised and bloodied passengers were seen stumbling from a piece of the fuselage that remained intact of the aircraft.

The plane was said to be in flames and then was witnessed disintegrating into different parts while landing in the city of Aktau in the western part of the country.
The nation’s emergency situations ministry shared more on this front including how personnel were busy at work trying to control the massive blaze at the site.

At the moment, 14 survivors were rushed to a regional hospital which included five admitted to intensive care unit.
The ministry later shared how 28 people luckily managed to survive the incident but seven are in serious condition. 22 survivors were treated at the hospital and two of those were kids.
